For as long as I can remember, I have loved entertaining, decorating and styling anything in sight. What started as a passion of mine soon became a business of planning weddings and events for others. My husband, our three babies, lots of moves and seven whole years of countless events later, I decided to lay my wedding planning business down for the sake of being home with my littles.
In the meantime, we bought our first fixer-upper home and I started documenting the progress on Instagram. Sharing all of our home updates, my styling projects, entertaining ideas, along with my fashion finds, motherhood, our travel, and everything in-between. Fast forward a few years later, and I’m so grateful to have created an online community inspired by all things home, fashion, entertaining, mothering, gardening, styling and more.
I love a collected home with southern, traditional design at the forefront. I'm inspired by a mix of old and new that's hard to replicate anywhere else. I love a budget-friendly find, with a noteworthy-splurge in home design and fashion.
We currently live in Tennessee where we are putting down roots, slowly updating our southern home, raising our family, trying our hand at gardening, celebrating the small moments, traveling as much as we can, finding Joy and Peace in the everyday, and sharing it all with you.
I’ll leave you with this. Home takes time. Before we know it, life will have passed us by. Throw the dinner party in the midst of the house project. Use the fine china on a Tuesday. Have a friend over for coffee even though the kid's toys are scattered everywhere. People need people, and I love that a beautifully designed space brings people together. But sometimes (a lot of the time) our space is anything but beautiful, and I'm here to tell you that's okay. Don't wait.
