I am over the moon with how our daughter’s nursery turned out! Thanks for sticking with me during this real-time makeover. Good things take time, and this was not an overnight transformation. I started designing this space back in June when we found out we were having a baby girl. Between work and raising a toddler, I took my time sourcing furniture and wall treatments and piecing everything together on a design board that slowly turned from inspiration to reality. Be sure to check out the original design board to see what changed vs. what stayed the same!
When I started thinking about how I wanted her nursery to look, I decided that I wanted to challenge myself with colors, patterns, layers and textures that I don’t normally choose. I wanted it to feel fresh, but still fit the style of our home. Collected, yet intentional. Peaceful, yet playful. Timeless and traditional, yet fun and inviting. I am so so happy with how everything came together, and I can’t wait to watch her enjoy this space for years to come.
The green paint color is Salisbury Green by Benjamin Moore at 75% strength. The wallpaper is peel and stick Block Print Daisy by LovevsDesign in custom colors cotton, blush, fir and dove. The crib, glider and ottoman are from Namesake. I’ve included a little before and after moment below, as well as all the sources that are linked at the end of this post. If it’s not linked – it’s either old, thrifted or gifted. Please enjoy and thanks for following along!
