Valentine’s Day Tablescape

I’ll be honest, I’ve always sort of been a Valentine’s Day gal. Not necessarily because of why it’s celebrated, but more so because it’s a good reason to decorate a table – and you all know I love a tablescape. So no matter if you’re celebrating with your girls or a group of friends or someone very special, I’ve put together a beautiful look for your VDay gathering!

I had dessert in mind when creating this look. Why don’t we go out for dinner, have someone else do the cooking, and then come home to a cozy little after-supper table set up for two (or more). Prepare your table and favorite dessert ahead of time, and pull it out to enjoy with a glass of champagne when you get home.

This tablecloth from Amazon is what inspired the entire look. I fell in love with the pattern the moment I saw it, and I love the non-traditional twist of green. Minus the glassware and marble cheeseboard, everything else I had on hand. You can shop those items, or similar, at the bottom of this post.

The Kate Spade champagne glasses, the rose tumblers and the marble cheese board were gifted from Kathy Kuo Home, and are a beautiful complement to the table. I tied a simple red bow around the stem of the champagne glass to up-the-fancy. Then brought everything together by placing ceramic bud vases on the table, filled with clearance flowers from Kroger. Don’t forget the little chocolate hearts sprinkled throughout!
