A Fall Mantle

A fall mantle shouldn’t be stressful! It should reflect your home & how you decorate. If you typically keep things simple, then continue to do that as you decorate for the season. If you like to go all out, then by all means – go all out!

I’m still learning this whole “document every single moment” thing. So I didn’t capture many before & after photos. Actually, I only got one photo & that’s the after photo. BUT I did share everything in my stories on my insta, so you can check out the behind the scenes there. Everything is saved to a highlight bubble on my profile.

This year’s fall mantle was inspired by a sprig of faux berry stems that stopped me right in my tracks while perusing the aisles of Hobby Lobby. I’m not one for faux plants in my house, but I couldn’t pass these berries up. The colors were just too good & they looked pretty darn real. I knew I probably needed to add some greenery to give it a little dimension, so I found this faux garland that looked pretty real to me.

I didn’t want to add much more, but it needed one final touch – real mini white pumpkins! I clustered a few up in the middle of the mantle & called it a day! This mantle was really simple to put together with these three elements and you could totally forage the berries & greenery from your yard to save on cost!
