Weekend Getaway to Columbia, TN

If you’re looking for the cutest little small-town getaway, then Columbia, TN is a must! Located less than an hour south of Nashville, it is a great place to visit for the weekend or even just the day if you’re local to middle TN.

I had the privilege of partnering with The Gathering Company for our group’s lodging at The Southern Sanctuary, a beautiful retreat nestled on the 50 acres of Cranford Hollow. The home was the perfect respite for our group of 10. The guys loved hanging in the gathering garage, the girls spent hours playing mahjong in the common areas, and every couple had their own space to retreat to at the end of the day. Everything was beautifully decorated with each bedroom having it’s own southern-themed room, and the home was clean and well stocked for anything we could’ve needed. The farm has sweeping views, orchards, and peaceful walking paths. It was the perfect backdrop for unwinding and bringing our group together for a relaxing weekend.

Outside of Saturday evening’s reservation at Prime & Pint, we didn’t have a ton planned for the weekend. Which is sometimes the best, right? I think we all would have been perfectly fine hanging back at the house and relaxing all weekend, but also I’m glad we got out and explored downtown Columbia because it was too cute! I’ve listed below everywhere we ate, shopped and explored – along with other recommendations (from my IG community) that we didn’t have time for. I guess this means I’ll have to go back!
